If you would like to obtain an accredited diving qualification but don't have the time to commit to the Open Water course then the Scuba Diver course is a good choice. This course only takes 2-3 days and gives you PADI certification for life.

Detailed Description

As with all our courses, we begin with the theory in class, before getting into our purpose-built pool for the practical training.

To complete the Scuba Diver course are three theory sessions, three pool sessions and two exciting ocean dives that take place over 2 to 3 days. The resulting qualification from PADI permits you to dive under the supervision of a PADI professional, and is valid for life.

You can upgrade your PADI qualification at any time after you have qualified as a Scuba Diver, the most ideal accreditation being the PADI Open Water Course

Considerations

Minimum age for this course is 10 years and no experience is required.

Location Map

Your scuba training takes place in a specialised dive facility in Kommetjie (only 30 mins from Cape Town). Their purpose-built pool gives divers the opportunity to learn in a safe but dynamic environment, and at your own pace. The Centre has all the facilities that you will need including 2 classrooms, changing rooms, out side showers,a refreshment area, sundeck and of course the purpose-built dive pool. Plenty of parking is available at the centre for those driving (detailed directions will be given when you make your booking) and we also offer return transport from Cape Town central if needed. There are a number of establishments that can provide accommodation in this beautiful area, should you decide to stay overnight.
